What to expect
Worship starts Sundays at 10:30am. Expect heartfelt praise led by the music ministry, a message preached from the Word of God, and a room that greets you like family. Christian Life Institute classes meet first, 9:30 to 10:15am, in person and online.

Wear what you are comfortable in and bring the whole family. If it is your first Sunday, fill out a connect card so the church can keep you posted on what is coming up.

Where kids go
CCF has offered a Children's Christian Life Institute class for ages 5 to 12, and Gregory Smith serves as Youth Minister.

CCF has been gathering in Canton, Michigan since November 2000, and the mission has not changed.

Gathering in Canton since November 2000
In November 2000, he founded Canton Christian Fellowship in Canton, Michigan, where he continues to serve as Lead Pastor. What began as a church plant is now a fellowship that celebrates, connects, and serves across Canton and metro Detroit.

What we believe
Statement of faith
The Holy Scriptures
We believe that the Bible is the written and inspired Word of God, authoritative and without error in the original manuscripts.
The Godhead
We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and that these three are one God.
Man
We believe that man was created in the image of God, but because of man's sin and disobedience, mankind was alienated from God.
The Person and the Work of the Lord Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, who came into the world that He might manifest God to men, fulfill prophecy, and become the Redeemer of a lost world.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, who is eternal and coequal with the Father and the Son.
Spiritual Gifts
We believe that Jesus Christ is the sovereign giver of spiritual gifts, which He distributes to all believers through the Holy Spirit in order to help them to function as a member of the church, which is the body of Christ.
The Personality of Satan
We believe that Satan, the devil, is the prince of demons and is the declared adversary of God and man.
Salvation
We believe that no one can enter the kingdom of God unless born again spiritually, and that the new birth of the believer comes only through confession and repentance of sin and profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Eternal Security
We believe that once salvation is accomplished, we and all true believers everywhere shall be kept saved forever.

David E. Washington, Jr.
Founding & Lead Pastor, Canton Christian Fellowship
Pastor David Washington Jr. has served in ministry for over 30 years and has faithfully pastored for 25 years.
In November 2000, he founded Canton Christian Fellowship in Canton, Michigan, where he continues to serve as Lead Pastor.
He is a devoted husband to the lovely Lady Mesha Washington and proud father to six wonderful adult children.
